In Response To: Wraparound Remake (SEspider) Wraparound Remake (post E3) Hey guys and gals, I've taken the time to watch the ALL of the E3 videos I could find and studied each one for hours to get the layout down. I ignored the heatmap remake I made up and focused on the footage only. From there I carefully sketched out a layout based on what I saw and ended up with a layout sketch very close to the heatmap's layout. From the sketchs I went into Forge and Reworked what I had already started on before E3. And my 'reworked,' I mean I threw out. Parts of the original layout I made had elements from the new one, but it just kept throwing me off track and confused me a bit. So I deleted it all and started over. This layout of the map I have now is the first draft of my studing of the videos and images. I know elements are missing and flat out wrong. I made changes to help keep the credit limit around the halfway mark. Spawns are most certainly off as are current set of weapons. But the general layout, I believe is very close. To truely "fix" the map, I need feedback from Louis, Ming, or anyone else that has had the privilege to play the map at all. A simple run/fly through the map should give you a quick idea of where I've made mistakes. Please post them here if you don't mind, so I can make the changes. The map is in my Fileshare now and is simply called "..Wraparound"
At this stage the map has over 4Kcr left. It's not as much as I'd like, but certain items just cost more the others. I was very careful with the placement of most of the items. Near the end I was tired and kinda rushed it. That happens after 8+ hours straight of working in Forge. I'm currently only worried about the lifts and teleporters. I didn't see teleporters on the H4 map, but I figured it'd work best in Reach with teleporters. They can easily be removed and the area adjusted. The tool palette is clearly missing weapons from Halo4, so I swaped them out for others. Feel free to change them as around as well. ;) Thanks in advance everyone
