Thus, for such : a change to make sense, it would have to be a completely different species : (which would be only very, very distantly related, if we look at the : levels of species classification as a guide) . Exactly. I am all for the re-imagining of characters and art (although I may have varying opinions on the changes) but such of a change of anatomy is baffling. The new Grunt art is fantastic, its really impressive how far 343 are pushing the game with new designs and great art..that said, the hands and feet, particularly the feet are done poorly; not only are they more generic and lack the uniqueness that Grunts were known for, but they also vastly ignore the previous versions. As some have said, they now look similar to a wretch from gears of war, or a goblin, rather than an stubby arthropod alien. And this all mainly stems from the changes to the hands/feet/legs which I bet 343 didn't seem to think would be an issue.
