In Response To: Shield and Sword - The Howling Dark *Long, IMGs* (Leviathan) I LOVE the story and your direction so far. My favorite part is how much it reminds me of Halo1. From starting in Cryo and fighting through a ship only to end up on a Huge open Forerunner structure. Great work in deed. Being a fellow artist, I don't feel right not giving it some critiques. No worries, for they are not major issues at all. More like pet peeves. 1-The first being of course that fact that the story doesn't match that of the announcement trailer. I can't help but feel that the armor sequence should have stayed calm and be a area where Cortana needed Chief's help in fixing certain things the sihp's arms could not reach. Then he returns to Cryo for the sudden awakining of the distruction. 2-It's been 5-6 years. Even if she couldn't fix all of the wires, Cortana would have cut power to loose wires long ago. Until they are attacked, there's no reason for the sparking wires. 3-I don't believe we should ever see any human part of the Chief. Even his hair would be a huge giveaway as to his race. Not all have read the novels so it could greatly hurt the connection/relation players have with him. Instead, I would focus the camera only onto his armor, Cortana, and the robot arms. 4-I'm not a fan of the radar being outside of the armor. I personally believe Cortana would have updated it enough to be built inside the helmet. This way there's less chance of it taking damage. 5-I don't believe the Shield World's Maw would be that large. Seems too much of a security risk having it that size. I believe it should be around 80% smaller when compared to the true size of the Shield World. 6-I like both designs of the Inspector. However, I like the original more. Mostly because it's central Orb area seems like a great place to cause damage to it. And thus the perfect target for Master Chief. ;) That and it looks cool. ^_^ 7-I had to study the large gate a moment to understand why parts of it was flat. This is due to those areas being next to slanted parts. But there's nothing at all wrong with it. Without seeing it in true motion just made it difficult to fully relaize is all. ;) Great work as always.
