People overlook they assembled one of the largest and most talented studios around. That in itself is VERY promising. I trust 343i. The books, adjustments, canon and everything else they've done so far gives me a great sense of excitement. They're taking it into a new, fresh direction while dissecting every game before it - and truly listening to the multiple sub-communities among the large Halo community out there. It's amazing how in that vidoc they make it look like a true predecessor to Halo 3. I've played every Halo game to death and I still love this series as much as when I popped in Halo 1 in my Xbox console all those years ago. There's not doubt they'll win over people. And I do agree with you - they NEED to win us over, but it's looking very, VERY promising imo.
