In Response To: Wide effect neural disruption weapon. (scarab) : What is neural disruption? In Cryptum, there was a throwaway line to something called "Neural physics", a Proth... er, Precurser technology that the Forerunner only barely understood, if that. Personally, it sounds to me like we're delving deeper into "Psychic" territory, though that's been present ever since Halo 2. Anyhow, if the Halo arrays can selectively target anything with a sufficiently large nervous system (Sentience not required, IMHO) and destroy it, that would qualify as "Neural" under my definition. : If its the later then how did neural disruption free the prisoner? How does
Well, if the Halo Effect works by destroying neurons via Neural Physics, I imagine that would give us the effect we saw in Origins. What happens to your body if all your nerve cells spontaneously combust?
