In Response To: Re: Fails Of The Weak #62 (november 26th) (Lurono)

: I posted a similar reply to GV a week or so ago...

: They're Rooster Teeth. They aren't there to be "professional" or
: "adult," they're there to entertain. People watch their videos
: for the personalities and people really like Geoff (myself included). His
: laugh makes me laugh, and it helps that I'm usually laughing at the same
: thing he is. He thinks it's funny, as do many other people (hence the
: amount of viewers they have). Because you don't doesn't make it
: "stupid." Calling them out for being childish is just silly;
: it's what they do.

: Hell, they chose the name Rooster Teeth Productions because the State of
: Texas wouldn't let them call themselves Cockbite Productions.

: If you don't like it just say so, there's no need to say that it's stupid or
: childish.

I missed that, I guess I lost track of the thread.
I would comment on this but I'm not sure what the situation is with laughing at certain things or how much it actually relates to keeping up to some standard of quality.
I can say I watch their videos for information and community-sourced humor and WTFery, as the only ones I watch are Fails of the Weak and the occasional video like the flythroughs they did recently and some achievement guides, and usually they're fine, but sometimes they get in the way of the reason I'm watching, and that shouldn't happen.
I don't support name-calling but if he's trying to describe them that's different, and childish can be a valid and accurate description for things.

You cannot fall off the floor.
