The reply hurts my brain too, for the same reasons. I'd have to reread the passage, but the book does mention something about there being at least one groove Jul used to manipulate the layers. There's the issue of 'rescrambling' the arum when solved too, which is why I have so many holes in mine. And we know the arum is made out wood...so we can't use transparency to help. Ah, thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I did this soley to get it the heck out of my head so I can concentrate on other things again. :)
