In Response To: Re: My questions, at least. (JonnyOThan)

I have a few more (I'm trying to tune down the amount of questions I ask, I promise!)

1) Was it ever considered to also have Firefight use Megalo, or were the modes just functionally too different?

2) I know it was mentioned at one point that ODST's firefight was prototyped in Halo 3 with the Sierra 117 Dam, and now you've said that Megalo was prototyped on Sandtrap. Was the Reach Firefight mode prototyped in Halo 3 or built off ODST? Basically I'm saying you guys got of use out of the Halo 3 codebase.

3) You mentioned that the entire program is run at once for each game tick. Is this part of the reason why Chess has such a sketchy framerate, or is it all the bipeds? Because I swear when you Game Over a Chess game, the framerate picks back up since the script is no longer executing.

4) The announcer on Invasion Spire and Invasion Boneyard no longer says "SKUNKED!", he only says it on Breakpoint. I swear at launch, he said Skunked on those two maps. Was I hallucinating or did you have to omit him saying this for other scripty things?

5) Also announcer related, are all announcer quips Megalo controlled (ie you could make a gametype with no announcer) or are stuff like announcing multikills hardcoded still?

6) If you could please give this post I made a quick lookover and rate such a gametype from 1 to 10, 1 being "ahaha no", and 10 being "I could probably get that running in a basic form within a couple of hours" in terms of doable.
