In Response To: Re: Say hello to the Halo 4 hog! (Quirel) As a mechanical engineer I can confidently say that there's absolutely NOTHING unrealistic about the Warthog's independent suspension. Is it complicated, difficult to design and manufacture? Of course! But all three of those words mean the same exact thing: $$$. The cost to design, manufacture and maintain a four-wheel-drive, four-wheel-independent suspension would be quite high...but it would SO FRIKIN ROCK. That's what I love about ALL of the Halo vehicles - They're all a little "out there" on the feasibility-scale, but none of them are impossible, physics-wise (aside from FTL drives; I'm not goin' there!), and that's what makes them EXTRA fun. If I wanted to drive a Hummer and fly an Osprey, there's plenty of "regular" FPS's out there. But the 'Hog and the Hornet are unique, and that's what I love(d) about them. So yeah, the suspension bums me out. :(
