In Response To: H:CE A makes me stare at the floor & twitch.*IMG*s (Leviathan) : You'll notice the Forerunner floors have been changed from a continuous (dare : I say, Forerunner-esque? :P) pattern found throughout the Halo trilogy, to : sectioned off pieces of hexagons. I would like to mention that there are various floors in whose in game assets look much like the new HCEA ones. While not made of sections of the hex-tiles specifically, floors in both multiplayer maps Narrows and Epitaph from Halo 3 have hex-tiled flooring. And there are all sorts of instances of segmented building throughout the series. Especially when it comes to composing a greater breadth of hard edged patterns of geometric shapes. Really, I would have to say while it's distinctly different from the overall feel of CE's forerunner architecture, it's very obviously still in line with the Forerunner aesthetic that has been built upon from that first step in CE ever since Halo 2 now walking full circle back to CE.
