The inconsistency is the : error. Yeah, the Rookie's a marine. That's definitely an error. Jotting down a note myself. Also, if I were to have my druthers, the book would have been closer to a thousand pages and it would have covered as much as we were capable of. My fanciful and absurd dreams, as one might expect, are not part of the factoring when it comes to making these things and so we had to be plenty more reasonable and practical when it came time to write stuff down. That's not to say we won't have something much more epic one day in the future, but that just wasn't this book. As for the content of this book, it was dicated by its original scope, in which it was going to be much more of a Halo primer about the 200 or so coolest things about the games (characters, vehicles, maps, etc.). Instead of making it into a primer, we took those things and tried to squeeze as much info out about them in the page real estate we were alotted. I think they turned out pretty decent. Lots of stuff didn't make the pages and many tears were shed in the process, but that's the way these things works.
