Did I ever think that fan participation in a fiction series would lead to me being recognized by the makers of that series and even be asked to help contribute to its creation? I would love to see a book like that. One thing I've always thought is how much potential there is in a series like Halo. They make these wonderful models and we use them in a game, but often that's all that happens. Maximize the use of those assets and art and whatnot. Create more with the research and assets that already exist. Maybe there's not a big enough market to justify it.
