In Response To: My review of Reach (finally). (Gravemind) : Well, it took me long enough, but I'm finally finished with my review of : Reach. I had most of it finished back in the fall, but I sat on it for : weeks on end, maybe adding a sentence or two a day at most, so it took me : just as long to get out the door as my Halo 3 review. I didn't really get : in gear and really try to finish it until the past several weeks. Anywho, : here it is, and enjoy: Review: "Halo Reach" ...and will come back for more feedback after I finish it. ;) So far, I agree with almost everything you've thrown at me. Lack of vehicle health meters, better weapons overall, etc. I disagree, however, with a few particular points. I, for one, welcome the addition of Armor Lock. No, I do not use it, but I understand some players just do not possess the necessary motor skill to stay alive in a hot firefight in Halo. It gives more players the opportunity to enjoy the game. Sure, it's a pain if you're the attacker, but really, just move on or wait, this is not CoD after-all. Also, I thoroughly enjoying the difficulty level in Legendary. H3's felt too easy and H2 too punitive. Reach hits the spot for my play-style. The percentages were a very nice touch to your review. Added a whole lot of depth in your analysis. Not many can convey such a feel. I'll go grab some dinner and I'll finish reading when I'm back.
