Not as cool as finding cutscene areas, but this "fly under the outer barrier" works in Forge World, too. Here is a picture I took from way above Forge World that looks like a smilie face: For an idea of how far above the level I am, the "eyes" are actually pieces of the Halo ring that arches over the map.
