It's : quite clear that they were more concerned with things looking : "cool" than how they're actually supposed to work or fit the : universe. Yeah. Another reason why Halo Wars turned me off... I don't know what lesson there is to be taken from this. Artists who work from nine-to-five are to be shunned? Write what you know, draw what you know? Read the frickin' manual? : For another example, I recall seeing (on the Halo wiki, I think) a design : sheet of the MJOLNIR armor which was labeled as "Master Chief : Spartan" or something of that effect. Na, jawohl. I have seen it also. Frackin' artists, paid to doodle and not to think. As a hopeful writer, I shudder at the prospect of eventually being at the mercy of a cover artist... I just like knowing what thought went into the design. A picture is worth a thousand words? I think not. A picture in this case is just a snapshot , a mirror that reflects what we think, but not what the artist thinks. Maybe that's the whole point of art.
