In Response To: Re: I would like to apologize. (serpx) : How long would it have taken us to find this egg with no hints? For example. HBO used to be a hub of Halo tricking and egg hunting.. it doesn't seem to be the case any more. It may be because High Impact Halo has picked up that torch, or there's more to enjoy in each Halo game and so we're less inclined to smell the invisible roses we don't know are there, ..in a way, here, it doesn't seem that we're hunting eggs. We just like people showing them to us. But I remember the hunt for the hippo very clearly, and that was pretty crazy! And fun! It didn't take long before we were seeing hippos in EVERYTHING. I absolutely can imagine how good the hunt for this could have been.. but there wasn't a hunt. I guess I'm just repeating what Wu was saying, but Bungie is a *BLAM!* good developer, and my favorite for many, many reasons. I just hope they know that there are fans out there that appreciate everything they put into their games, and that they don't give up going the extra mile. I appreciate what they do because they don't have to do it as well as they do. I'm buying Bungie's next game--period. I don't know what genre it is, what platform it is--anything. But they do things, in my opinion, so *BLAM!* well that it doesn't matter. And to boot, they are constantly involved in their fan community. They've spoiled us a bit, I think. Let's not act like spoiled brats in return. (this is in a more general "what's going on with HBO lately" theme than the specific topic at hand)
