In Response To: Re: What exactly did HBO "do"? (on either side) (Schooly D) : I think you need to calm down. This has nothing to do with any sort of forum : irritability. People on HBO have ALWAYS been sensitive whenever : outside-the-game methods have been used to find/reveal things that Bungie : intended to be found through the game. This has been the case for Halos 1, : 2, 3, and now Reach. This sort of response, from both sides, isn't : anything new. Yup. This is like being at summer camp, having the counselors give everybody a fun scavenger hunt list, and then having one guy walk up and say "I dug through the counselors' desks and found a map of where everything is hidden. Now we can go get the stuff and not spend any time on it." Where's the fun in that? It might have been fun for him to rummage through their desks, but it takes away from the game for everybody else. The biggest damage of things like this is that it discourages Bungie from doing any cool eggs in the future. :(
