800 eh? Way more than I expected. Too bad they didn't brand them like they did with those limited edition posters some Bungie artists made and signed a while back.

There was a set of charity based auctions back in 2007 for Hollywood Arts. One of them was for a tour (with two of my friends) of Bungie's studio and also had the added perk of this huge guy. I ended up throwing down 2700$ for the tour's auction and TBH, even if the statue wasn't included, I would have still thrown that down heh. IIRC, another auction that was taking place at the same time was to have a voice recording session that would appear in Halo 3, but that had a fixed deadline (since the game came out that year). Bungie was more flexible with the tour's date.
