In Response To: Re: Motion Comic Makings-of, and 343's uphill clim (Hedgemony) : Hedgemony loves Halo but loves Bungie more. Am I ready to ditch Halo once : Bungie leave? Yes. 343i will have to impress the syrup out of me. It won't : be the same Halo to be honest. I don't believe in miracles. : As soon as Bungie announce their new IP then that's that. New forum, new
: -Hedge. I'm with you, Hedge. Unless they drop the ball like Lucas did with Star Wars, I'll still buy the games, most likely, because I know the universe so well, better than any other current game universe. (I enjoyed Halo Wars, for instance, but much less than any Bungie game I've played.) Someone else said that knowing the people makes a difference, and it certainly does, but that doesn't completely explain how Bungie has managed to get me so excited about their games over the years. A lot of people have come and gone. Bungie has suffered some major losses over the years, personnel wise. Great additions, too, of course. So far they've maintained the humor in their public interactions, fun in the gameplay, and quality in the fit and finish. (And yes, Halo 2 was disappointing in regard to the latter.) Those are the things that attract me. I didn't love the Return, FWIW, but I like my Elites growly and vicious, not hammy and British.
