In Response To: Halo Reach Stats Tracker (Tom Mathews) Hmm, you know what would be handy here? A Reach stats API. We're making plans for this kind of thing for Reach that that goes beyond the simple RSS and should put an end to screen scraping. If you're interested in this kind of thing (i.e., stat apps), PM me on bungie.net. Incidentally, beta stats will remain available for a while after beta, which should allow you to provide good feedback from the perspective of a developer. But screen scraping is bad, and it will break, and I may actively discourage it, unlike before (because we have something better). : Hello everyone! It's been a while... : I've written statistics software for the different Halo websites, since the : stats first started being put up by Bungie. I've been trying to get : something out for everyone to grab the Beta stats before they are purged : (should Bungie choose to do so), and finally got it working. : This is pretty rudimentary to my normal offerings, but I plan to continue : development even after the Beta's closed. Right now it's just the one : chart to show that something's happening... but there's all sorts of juicy : data tucked away (like average kill distance / death distance per game, : and even kill/death stats timeline per game).
