Well, TBH, it then seems kinda screwy that jump is the one that is sacrificed in 5 of 6 control schemes. Or well, both melee and jump in the case of 'recon.'

I really hope theres the option in your guy's timetable for the possibility of adding new control schemes to the mix, because none of these seem ideal. I mean, I'd much rather sacrifice melee to the face buttons than Jump. Or hell, maybe even zoom or crouch!

Don't be afraid to throw in radically different control schemes! If its better in some way, someone will be willing to relearn.

I mean, crouch and zoom are in the exact same positions as in Halo 1 Default in 5 of 6 schemes. And Halo 1 had greenthumb anyway!

Why not zoom on LT in one (half way for 5x, full depress for 10x on snipers), Jaime even mentioned in the sniper presentation he might have made that decision, but its never even been an option. Other devs think the trigger is a cool place for zoom, but Halo players aren't allowed a shot at it?
