In Response To: Re: Noble Team portrait (Justinian) : The white highlights are trying to evoke a sense of morning light. Sorta a : bunch of spartans walking out of smoke and darkness into a crisp sense of : hope. I'll develop this more though as it's not that obvious. Maybe if you change it to a slight off-white, it'll be less sharp, and much more like morning light. A super light sky blue or a little bit of rose or lemon in the white could make it a little more natural. Though, that might be something you don't need to worry about until late, when you're doing details/color corrections. Though, I'll be honest, I don't recall what color Reach's sun is. But we have a yellow sun here at earth and you usually end up with some interesting tints as the sun crests the horizon. As a rule-of-thumb, white light rarely is natural light. Just something to look out for.
