Go to Waypoint, Archive, About Halo, The Fiction, History, Ten Twenty, and read the entries. My interpretation is that the UH fleet was destroyed and was covered up. See part 1. There is no mention of the racial composition of the Fleet. The 3rd entry states that a Support and Excavation fleet, commanded exclusively by Brutes was sent to Earth but it doesn't state that it was the remains of the UH fleet. It also mentions that the Covenant fleet abandoned by Regret contained Brutes and that forecfully overtook the Elites and assumed complete control over the battle above Earth. This happened once Truth gave the word. The parts are just text and are quite small but I think it might violate copyright to quote them verbatim. Could Wu mirror any waypoint material? Would he be interested considering that its not Bungie?
