What should we do? Commander: Gather all the ships in the fleet and follow them. Random Elite: What of the Jiralhanae? They have just deployed their troops on the ground as well. Commander: Leave them. They can deal with the dirty work of occupation and glassing. This most sacred of discoveries should not be tainted by their filthy feet anyway. Random Elite, snickering: As you wish, Commander. *And thus we fight Brutes in Reach.* In all due seriousness though, I love what Bungie did with the Brutes in ODST. They have come far from the bumbling imbeciles we fought in Halo 3. However, I would very much like to fight Elites again, just for old times sake. The Brutes can be there but they should be either equal in number or (preferably) lesser in number compared to the amount of Elites in game. Make them more of a cross of ODST and Halo 2 Brutes, so that they are that much more difficult to fight and thus saved for tougher fights in the game. And don't get any ideas from that little scenario up there Bungie. I know how you are... :P
