Wow... That's really odd... it doesn't make sense (at least to me) why the game would 'spawn' you in the drop pod... If this glitch had happened in campaign it would make a lot more sense. But the fact it happened in Firefight seems really weird.

It would be awesome to get a technical response/answer from someone at Bungie about this. The only thing I can think of is the game has a master 'spawn' that if all others fail it will revert you back there. Kind of like... shit I have an example of this but I cannot think of it right now.

But you get the idea, I hope.
