Sure, it's : an almost monthly discussion here, but I still say this forum layout beats : any of the new-fangled ones those other sites have. agreed. a few simple features couldn't hurt though. the layout promotes fresh content and keeps the flow unhindered by awful things like post counts, giant hundred post threads (we still manage those, but only for huge debates), and sigs and avatars. it's always seemed like its kept the retard levels dialed down as we see less memes, lolcats and 4chan grammar. all i'd ask for are a few essentials like an edit button; stuff that doesn't hinder the flow and layout. I'm aware edit buttons generally hinder flow, but if it were timed for say 5 to 20 minutes or so (ive seen this done in other forums, dunno if this system can handle it) i think it would help fix the occasional tpyo. some simple html tools for the noobies out there couldnt hurt either.
