i agree with the fact that credit isnt something worth fighting over - but in the original post the guy marely stated it in passing - he wasnt looking to cause a argument or anything. i think its a bit unfair how much backlash the guy has gotten over a simple sentence which normally would go unnoticed - i think his post was mainly to do with the glitch itself rather than claiming credit. generally people dont get lynched for the odd statement - i find it quite 'lame' how that one sentence "So I quickly made a video and posted it on youtube so that we could get credit for the find." - overshadowed the whole thread. its almost as bad as people correcting grammer and spelling and missing the whole point of the thread in the first place - so i have to say this place can be as wasteful in terms of on topic posts as HIH. this place might not be a credit orgy - but it seems like there are some big ego's - and not everyone will have been part of the community to know of the unwritten rules. either way ill shut up now - i just dont think the guy deserved the amount of critism he got.
