Yeah, I'm using a Blackmagic card :) The Intensity Pro, running on a 3Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, Vista Home Premium 64-bit system. I've been capturing off of the 360's component output in 720p, and saving it to my secondary hard drive (a Western Digital "Blue" WD6400AAKS). If you're thinking of creating such a set up, it's important that you don't save your videos onto your primary hard drive, as the constant read/writes of the OS really hurt the transfer rate. I use Blackmagic's Media Express software to do the capturing, and have it set to compress the video automatically as Motion JPEG. This really doesn't harm the quality at all IMO, with artefacts only visible on menu items (such as the pop up at the beginning of H3 games telling you what game type you're playing). From there I use VirtualDub to re-encode the video into Xvid format with MP3 audio. Hope this helps. If you want to know anything else just ask.
