I wanted to make you strong, keep you safe. I'm sorry. I : can't".). The books give more information than the games can offer, : though this isn't to say that there aren't inconsistencies. And also everything she says running up to that Cortana terminal is related to the coin exchange. It's pretty weird if you haven't read the book.
