hrmph..I actually thought of that before I posted, hehehe, but if you compare that one screen to a flamethrower demonstration in, say, Unreal 2, or even the new Wolfenstine game, then the flames in Halo dont seem so, uh, hot (ehehheeh). I might be wrong about this, but then, so might you =b.

I didnt think that the explosions were very good either (even in motion), they seemed more like place holders to me, and thats what im thinking that the flames for the flamethrower are.
