Halo to have a teen rating?

So I'm looking at the IGN box art picture and I notice that Halo has a Big Ol' "T" in the bottom left corner.

I'm not super-familiar with the ESRB rating system but as far as I know if you have blood (specifically red blood), you'll end up with an "M" rating. Is this a misprint on the box art, has gore been removed from the game, or is it all still up in the air?

...someone in the know care to comment?
