In Response To: Thank you, Sir. (SinisterSamurai) You have Neuromancer on there three times. Just as well, though. I can't think of anyone I've known or met that reads a lot that hasn't underscored how much of an effect that one novel has had on them. Burning Chrome, Gibson's collection of short stories, is excellent as well. For awesome imagery and monsters, I suggest China Mieville's New Crobuzon trilogy, as well as Looking for Jake, his collection of short stories, for anyone into horror, steampunk, or fantasy. Richard K. Morgan is also awesome for any fan of Gibson and/or Cyberpunk. I've only read a slight smattering of what's up there myself, I'll be incorporating this into my own already lengthy to-read list. Good thing a couple of those titles are required texts for the course I'm currently taking(!). ~Ma1
