In Response To: Staying current (General Vagueness) : I'm sorry if this has been answered/solved before, but, well here it is. : The other two forums I'm a part of will e-mail you when a thread you're : "watching" is replied to, or at least one you started. I'm fine : with that not being the case here. I've noticed there's also no RSS feed : for the forum. I don't mind that either. However, I would like to know : when a thread I'm keeping an eye on gets posted to, without checking this : page every 5 seconds. Can anyone recommend a solution? : --You cannot fall off the floor. If you can, just leave that thread open and refresh later, or just bookmark it. It's not as fancy, but it's the quickest way to know if that thread has any action, especially if the subject line has changed and the thread is older than two days. Wouldn't that basically do what you need?
