In Response To: Fly through Halo 2 in 3D on your PC (Jordan117)

1. Most of the files necessary to run the program come compressed in a .rar file (similar to a .zip file). You can extract the actual .map files using the free program Izarc. After installing, just double-click the .rar file and Izarc should start up. Select the file, choose "Extract", and browse to the location of your map folder to extract the .map file there.

2. Shortly after I made this post, the administrator of the site that hosts the .map files barred non-members from downloading them. Unless you want to search elsewhere for the files, you'll have to create an account to access them.

So there are a few more roadblocks to getting this program running, but it should be worth the effort if you're really interested in getting a good look at these classic maps.
