I read these posts enjoying the back-and-forth between you two, then you go and mention me like some sort of reference point... Woohoo, I'm a point of reference, like some kind of villian! Anyways, and not to spin this into a different tangent, I can say something that's positive. That post is odd, because it would seem the more words I put into something the more negative my tone becomes, so that post should be negative. This could be compared to a phenomenon witnessed on a now-defunct test channel on IBO.

Conjecture suggested that brief statements were noisy, so a bot existed to "enforce" signal (long/wordy/verbose statements) by punishing people if they said a statement that had previously been said - which were mostly short statements like 'lol.' The phenomenon discovered, however, demonstrated that these verbose, unique statements were actually noise and not signal which defeated the purpose of the bot; Having to type many superfluous words to avoid punishment took time, both in having to type them as well as having to read them. You'd have to sift through a huge block of text just to extract, "lol, jim" from it. Now, I mention this because the concept applies to my posts: If I want to have a high signal (positive tone), then I should use nice, short posts; If I want to be noisy (negative), then I should just use a stream of consciousness style of writing.

To be succinct: My long posts are negative, while my short posts are more positive.
