Photoshop has an auto-merging ability as well. I believe it's only available in the more professional versions of Photoshop, though. My current computer is actually a hand-me-down from my brother, a graphic artist, so it came with some great programs already installed!

I actually didn't realize this feature was available until I read the panorama FAQ on Haloramics. My first five or six were all spliced "by hand," so to speak. Auto-merge made things much nicer, believe you me!
