In Response To: Alien Sighting - Iris campagin (DKTH3puma) This fully has to be an early Aprils Fools joke. There's no way that A.) Aol (and the LA Times apparently) could have mistaken this for something real and thus newsworthy or B.) that some private detective from Santa Clara could actually have been on this 'case' for months now and not realized that it's from an ARG (I'm from Santa Clara county, we're smarter than that). Or is this in itself another ARG of some sort. It must be. Goddamnit. Just check out this asshole's site, linked from the supposed Private Eye's homepage. I didn't bother reading the whole thing because if it's a joke it's not worth my time and if it's an ARG, which I find totally dumb, then it's really not worth my time. But from what I did read, this dude is claiming to have worked for some secret govt. organization decoding alien languages like those that show on these craft. Right. I wonder if it all has anything to do with the new X-files movie.
