Nobody's saying you can't dislike the art. You're in plenty of company disliking the art. You're totally welcome to your opinions. The problem I had was that you're choosing to argue about things that don't make a lot of sense to me.

You say "I don't like this art [that's fine] because it's too symmetrical, which is different from all other forerunner art we've seen [that part seems silly to me]." So someone said "well, here are a bunch of examples of symmetrical forerrunner art from Bungie." And your response was to pick a couple of them and say "well, those are different because of X." By ignoring the REST of his examples, you're making me wonder if you HAVE an argument for them - and if you don't, why not just concede the point?

"Okay, fine, Bungie made some symmetrical forerunner structures. But I still don't like Halo Wars stuff so far."

That would be a sentence I couldn't argue with - that's your opinion. And by removing the weak part of your argument, you make the whole stance more solid; you can find a DIFFERENT reason why you don't like the art, but you don't really have to; there are TONS of things I don't like without really being able to explain exactly why.

But to hold on to an argument that's already been shown to be false... THAT'S what I was wondering about, THAT'S why I asked you if you had any other explanations.

The only opinions I try to stifle around here are those that hold that forum abuse is an acceptable pastime. :)
