In Response To: Harold Ryan Hints At New Bungie IP (Anton P. Nym (aka Steve)) : Develop Magazine followed up on their interview with Marty today with an : interview with Harold Ryan. : Lots of nifty stuff there, but the most intriguing to me is his discussing : how Halo 3 didn't cannibalise team(s) working on other IP(s) at the time : unlike Halo and Halo 2. Tied in with his comment that there's plenty of : new faces eager to work on Halo stuff, but some of the veterans are : champing at the bit to graze in new IP fields, and it looks like we might : get a non-Halo Bungie title in the not-terribly-distant future. (Even : while additional Halo content gets released.) : -- Steve'd love it if 'twere true; best of both worlds, assuming Bungie's big : enough now to support multiple projects. I just assumed that Jason Jones (and probably a team there) was working on a new IP based off of various reports, stuff like him taking time off after Halo 2 to (I'm assuming) generate new ideas in addition to just not-crunching on a game. Also the fact that he requested the Special Thanks mention only in the H3 credits.
