| The halo story...and wheres its coming from | |

let me get one thing out of the way; I love the Halo games. I own both Halo 1 and Halo 2 for xbox. But having said that, I'm really dissapointed with the story of the games and I'm surprised why people are even into it for the story...opposed to the gameplay, multiplayer and graphics. I mean, lets face it, all halo does is take everyone from starcraft and put it into a first person shooter. Exactly. Its amazing how similar everything is, heres just some of the things ive seen Starcraft

I mean its almost amazing how unoriginal the story is...bungie tries to mix things up by adding in ideas from the bible and the 3 main religions but even that isnt enough to make this story stand out from the rest. We all already know how its going to end, itll look like all hopes lost, dramatic deaths of main characters, sacrifice, blah blah and the the races will understand what the forerunner is, humans will realize some stuff... I think the only reason people pay attention to the story at all is because bungie only gives us a little info, and people have to make sense of it...its not that whats being told is all that great, its just how its being told, its like a grandfather telling his newphews and nieces a story like, and then they got lost in the woods..ok thats enough for tonight, ill tell u the rest tommorow... for any story people need to know how it ends and whats going on
