You're taking this completely out of context. It's the end of the Omegathon. It's not about Halo, it's about GAMES. These guys, PA admitted, had hardly ever played a Halo game, but they were good at a wide-enough scope of games to make it to the Omegathon final, and we get a treat. Yeah they played terribly (the video of Tycho and Gabe playing is far more satisfying from a gameplay perspective), but we got to see a ton of new stuff in glorious action.

Also I thought the screams and cheers were cute. It's good to remember how NORMAL people react to this stuff :D

Also, holy-sweet-jesus-in-an-aquarium. I am going to ROMP with that Mauler. Its animation and sound work is phenomenal. I think I'm in love.
