Thanks for the complement, a lot of the issues people have brought up were all known to me but there weren't easy solutions for them. The song itself is called "To Victory (Philip Stier's Sacrifice for Sparta Remix)" off of the 300 soundtrack. The inspiration for that part of it, though, came from the movie Vantage Point.
