Not really. Without knowing all that much about it, I suspect the networking is completely different. Among other things, you have close to zero lag with System Link. I hope I don't have to draw you a picture.

Sure, it COULD be done. But I for one am not going to push for it; I'd rather see other things. Coop is a shared thing, and it's hard to do that online.
