Can't tell if you're facetious or not, but it's not being picky, just analytical. Some of the stuff I've figured out about Halo (and Star Trek) about where things are on ships, etc. is sometimes by isolating where they can't be. In this case, despite the areas looking like large sliding doors, the fact that Bungie went to the trouble of putting conspicuous windows in that location led me to conclude they were not hangar doors and I then searched elsewhere for a probable location.
