Yeah, there are crazy people on here that think she says it in Halo 2, but here's what she says in Halo 2:

"I don't want to chance a remote detonation... I need to stay here." Not "Cheif, Leave me."

And, here's the scene in Halo 1:

KEYES: Cheif, don't be a fool, leave me.

Which is a lot closer.

As for your theory, it's possible.
