Halo 3 Beta information

Kotaku has a story up saying that registration for a "chance" to be in the Halo 3 beta will be online on December 4th. (The troubling implication of the word "chance" should be clear: it will be a limited/closed beta.)

They don't really cite a source for this announcement and there's no quote of the original wording, so draw your own conclusions.
