LIST OF WEAPONS CONFIRMED BY MAG

In Response To: HALO 3 in LEVEL (Deepblue) LIST OF WEAPONS CONFIRMED BY MAG spartan laser- massive shoulder mounted laser, good vs. vehicles. shoots bright red visible beam. Spiker- brutes' weapon of choice. shotgunesque, dual wieldable SMG- same old thing Battle Rifle- looks same, other details unanounced Assault Rifle- the freaking AR Shotgun- looks the same. Sniper Rifle- looks same as human sniper from Halo 2. also the coolest thing imo is the way your secondary weapon is visible to everyone else playing- its strapped to your back OR leg, becausee theres one pic where a spartan is carrying a shotgun and he has an SMG strapped to his thigh, so i figure dual weps go there and larger ones on the back. no word on the plasma weapons or the RL. is it being replaced by the spartan laser? nobody knows....... oh and the new flag for CTF is really cool looking- its more like a banner than a flag, like a mideval banner but all futuristic and cool. its awesome. ON THE GENERAL GRAPHICAL 'FEEL' OF THE SCREENS: seriously its more like halo 1. you know how in halo 1 mp the maps had a dull, dusty, oldish feeling to them while in halo 2 every map was immaculate and shiny and reflecty? in halo 3 the maps appear dusty and awesome. my favorite map shown is called Highground, and its a dusty fort in what looks like africa. much vehicles. dust. fort. thats about all we know. layout looks similar to zanzibar, but with the screens you can't be too sure. the new blood gulch, Valhalla, looks like an overgrown coag. the rocks aren't red anymore, they're grey and mossy. also more trees, and a big old forerunner structure smack in the middle of the map. it looks like its about the same size of coag or maybe a little bit smaller. VEHICLES: ghost makes a return. so does normal warthog (no word on gauss/rocket variations) mongoose is new vehicle, an ATV. its pretty cool looking, and its just there for transportation. MAN CANNON this has got to be the most misquoted thing around. you know how in halo 2 they replaced ladders with steam vents and grav lifts? its that same thing. in the new blood gulch, called Valhalla, instead of the costumary teleporters in the bases, theres a grav lift/steam vent looking thing that will whisk you away to your destination. at least thats what it looks like. its not a freaking tube that you climb into and your teammate lights the fuse.
