As long as they don't change *too* much. It's easy to explain way why there are BR like rifles in this time period (Earlier version, etc) and things like that... if they start "retconning" things too much then we run into "This is just stupid" territory. I don't think Bungie would ever let things get that far, but I'm questioning why the MJOLNIR-like armour in the trailer looks more like a combo of the "later" too versions of the armour, rather than a more obvious predacessor to the armour seen in Halo 1. : If I'm brutally honest though, I'm not that keen on this design for the : Elites. Looks like its all bulk and lumbering around. The element of grace : seems to be gone and its hard to see that design performing the animation : routines in Halo and Halo 2 in a convincing way. And the sword fights in : the HGN even more so. : I can understand why the designs would be changed, especially in the movie. : More intimidating and scary, but still. : Ah well, if that's how things will change for Halo 3, Halo Wars, the movie : etc... not much to be done about it really. But the phrase "if it : ain't broken, don't fix it" comes to mind. : Though that is the one and only thing I have a gripe with in the trailer. The Halo Wars trailer seems more photorealistic than any other Halo stuff we've seen before, that's probably why everything looks strange. I think that's a problem since it helps kill alot of the "Halo vibe" I think any Halo game should have, FPS, RTS or whatever. When everything is a shade of dark navy blue... yeah, that's weird.
