I'm guessing that you mean the 'Pelican Marines reprieve trick' mentioned at the end of the seven-extras article. That's the one you couldn't get to work on the PC. But that's not what I was talking about using to hear Sarge; I was talking about the seven-extras trick. He'll give the speech whether active or inactive; and on Easy there's not going to be much problem keeping him alive (I've also now tried Legendary, but it's the same speech). For Captain Spark's purposes, inactive would probably be handier so Sarge isn't running about as he talks (which he was when I heard him again recently). | |
