In Response To: BG:National Monument (Skavenger_s7) XBC held me over through the years after campaign after domestic LANS prompted to usher insufficient numbers... I think I'll return to my original setup and typing "GG" after every game, no ludicrous children and adults demeaning themselves and yourself over a numeral via headset, just cold hard silence, concentration and nerve. For me, a pilgrimage back to XBC would be fun; however, the same friends, the same demographic of players would no longer be there. Where as most have faded away or migrated to the more streamlined sequel, how could it ever be the same? Could it be rejuvenated? Where, I proclaim, is our Halo 1.5? Would an Xbox live enabled Halo, as was speculated prior to Halo 2 launch, make it any easier for the avid fan to return to such barren grounds? The headset can be forfeited if anything to retain some measure of the original atmosphere, but that's rather null, considering you could just as easily switch it off. But I digress, for that is a topic for another session... As is... Halo 2 is of a different plane to me, crowded and overzealous, the environment I try and have fun in is no longer welcoming. My more auspicious hope is for Bungie to take into account your words today, Skav. For they speak for me truer than I could manage myself, and as is the same, I imagine, for so many... My hat’s off to you good sir. : )
